With the #MCAT in my rear mirror…
What a crazy semester so far… I just wrapped up my campaign to take the MCAT (
I better make a 28 or higher goddamnit! I’ll be happy no matter what the results are…) and just began working on my thesis, screenplay and new job. I hate being THAT guy — you know, the one who is always complaining about stuff going on in his life, as if his tasks are the only important ones — but I’m kind of nervous about these new endeavors.
I mean, maybe I can just demolish my
nonexistent social life to complete all of my goals for this semester, but I do believe that I can work through all of it, create products of high quality and come out alive!
Here are my
tentative “set-in-stone” goals for this semester:
- Achieve a 4.0 GPA;
- Finish the research aspect of my thesis, along with creating and administering my first survey;
- Complete a full-length screenplay;
- Receive an epic internship for this summer;
- Become indispensable at my new job;
- Plan out a Regional Conference for PRSSA to be held at LSU in 2013
I know it seems like a lot, but I really believe it’s possible. It’ll be tough, but life is definitely not worth living if you’re not striving to be the best version of yourself.
Other than that, I will leave you with a song I’ve had stuck in my head for a while now… Ever since it was announced that she’d be tearing up the stage that the Halftime Show for the Superbowl. I present you with the song that made me a Madonna fan: “Hung Up.” (I would leave you with the whole “Confessions On A Dance Floor” album, but there’d be too many links 😉 )
